About Les Vignerons d’Alignan du Vent : Located in the widest vineyard in the world. La Cave d’Alignan combines tradition and modernity, first through its various terroirs but also with its parcel selection and wine making process. Under the Mediterranean climate, the terroir benefits from a strong northern wind, this wind providing a real protection for the vines. Moreover, they take advantage of the favourable exposure and this enables a slow grape maturity.
Description : Pale pink colour. Fruity nose of small red fruits such as raspberry, red current and pink grapefruit. Round and fresh palate with notes of toasted bread, butter and red fruit.
Winemaking : The different grapes are harvested at night separately. Grapes are totally destemmed, then pneumatic pressing and cold settling. Fermentation is achieved under controlled temperature.
