About Domaine de Valensac: Domaine de Valensac belongs to the Lafon family. Living and working in the North of France, the estate’s management is in the hands of the young and dynamic woman and entrepreneur Edwige Thuillé.
This vineyard stretches over 49 hectares, located next to the Mediterranean Sea in the Languedoc Roussillon, and benefits from the maritime influence and fresh soils. Domaine de Valensac farms different classic grape varieties from this region, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, however it also has uncommon grape variety for Languedoc such as Petit Manseng, Riesling, Albariño and Petit Verdot.
Vinification: The grapes are vinified together after concentration by bleeding. Traditional 6-day fermentation without sulfur. Extraction during winemaking is essentially carried out with the aid of unballasting to preserve the soft tannins and the aroma of the grape varieties.
