About Clos Lentiscus: Located in the range of mountains of Massís del Garraf, right in front of the Mediterranean Sea, in Sant Pere de Ribes. Manel Aviñó, together with his daughter Núria, make wines that are respectful to the land and follow the concepts of biodynamic agriculture, without any additives.
Clos Lentiscus is a project aimed at producing wines like those that were made in the past. Wines that are respectful with the land, using classic cultivation methods without pesticides or herbicides. Using the moon as a guidance to plant, prune and harvest, and respecting the wine in the bottling process.
Its vines are mainly planted on sandy-calcareous soils, facing south. Around 20 hectares mostly planted with local varieties and following the biodynamic method.
Description: A sparkling wine without denomination of origin, produced using the ancestral method, with Sumoll grapes from vines planted on sandy-calcareous soils. It is a fresh, dry rosé sparkling wine that is cheerful and refreshing. Manually harvested and fermented with local yeasts. A subtle and delicate Sumoll.
