About Chateau Bechereau: A family business since the 18th Century, Château Béchereau has vineyards on three appellations of the “Right Bank” in the area of the Libourne vineyards. Over the generations, they have endeavored to create high quality wines which are reflective of their terroirs.
Description: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Chateau Béchereau has been family owned since the early 19th century and has vineyards in Neac on excellent clay soils. Half of the wine is fermented in stainless steel before ageing in oak barrels for 12 months, the other half is fermented in oak. This combination creates a classic, medium bodied claret with a good balance of black fruits, toasty notes and some sweet spice.
ABV : 13.5%
