About Alsina & Sardà: The Alsina family have been tending vines since the 19th century. Their very beginnings can be traced back to 1852, in the property of Cal Janes, near the village of El Place del Penedès. In 1980, they began producing their own cava in a small family cellar in Ca l’Avi. Soon the production increased considerably and they expanded their facilities in 1985. The vineyards and the cellar are located in the very heart of Penedès area, influenced by the Mediterranean soft climate that delivers great freshness.
Vinification: From 15 year old vines. Light maceration of the must with the skins for colour and aroma extraction, followed by light pressing and later fermentation at low temperatures. second fermentation in the bottle for 12 months.
Description: Redcurrant pink in colour with elegant bubbles. Aromas of red fruit and fresh yeast. In the mouth fruitiness stands out with volume and creaminess.
