Description
About Alsina & Sardà: The Alsina family have been tending vines since the 19th century. In 1980, they began producing their own cava in a small family cellar in Ca l’Avi. Soon the production increased considerably and they expanded their facilities in 1985. The vineyards and the cellar are located in the very heart of Penedès area, influenced by the Mediterranean soft climate that delivers great freshness.
Vinification: Hand harvested and bunch selection on the sorting table. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing for 8 months in French Allier oak barrels and later resting in the bottle for an additional 8 to 12 months.
Description: Made from the indigenous grapes of this region, Samsó, Garnatxa and Tempranillo. High cherry colour. Ripe, wild fruit on the nose intertwined with vanilla, spice and balsamic notes.
